Welcome to the St Andrew’s Hurricane Hub Library
In the library hub, we are working to promote and infuse wide-ranging literacy skills that support the PYP, MYD, and DP curriculum. It is important and our goal for all St Andrew’s students to be 21st century learners and confident seekers of information. In addition to building a strong literacy foundation, we in the library hub value and promote a love of reading through choice of books and pleasure reading.
We would like to welcome parents and community to enjoy the facilities and resources. If anyone is looking to support the program by keeping the library collection in order, or helping with displays we would welcome all volunteers. Contact the librarians if interested in supporting the library or with any questions.
We are working to keep a warm environment where students are learning to flourish. Out goal is to equip students to conduct research inquiries efficiently and with confidence. Classes will utilize the library for conducting research, learning to researching, and checking out free reading books. In addition to print sources, we have access to digital databases as well, which can be accessed through Destiny, our online library catalog.
The community is encouraged to use the online catalog to search for books and access our recommended reading lists with your child(ren)
The library is open from 7:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
