At St Andrew’s School we believe that all children deserve the opportunity to learn and grow with their peers. We value student diversity and respect individual learning differences, which in turn contributes to a student body that is more internationally minded and understanding.

We recognise that all of our students learn differently and therefore each and every lesson is planned with specific learning styles in mind. Here at St Andrew’s School we are passionate about inclusion and aim to provide equal opportunities for all. “Inclusion is an ongoing process that aims to increase access and engagement in learning for all students by identifying and removing barriers.” Learning Diversity in the International Baccalaureate Programmes.

Our Learning Support Programme has been developed with a Whole School Continuum in mind. We have a high level of in class support and provide one-to-one support in our learning resource centre where needed. Our School Within a School programme provides students with an opportunity to learn fundamental life skills as well as providing a targeted academic programme.

Teachers provide a high level of differentiation within all classroom settings. At St Andrew’s we not only differentiate for all individual needs but we also set extremely high standards for all of our students, with the belief that any student has the ability to achieve their personal goals.
