Dear St Andrew’s Alumni,
Our 2018-2019 school year is an important milestone in the life of St Andrew’s: our 70th Anniversary. It’s a big one and we’d like to invite you to come and celebrate with us, to reconnect with your alma mater, friends, teachers and the broader St Andrew’s community. We have an exciting series of events planned throughout the year which you are welcome to attend, and, in addition, we’d like to invite you to a reunion of the St Andrew’s alumni. We want to reconnect you with your classmates, have you visit the school once again, and hear from the school’s leadership and governors about the exciting developments that are happening. We are planning to hold four events over four weekends spread out through the year, each dedicated to alumni from a particular decade. So, for example, everyone who graduated between 1999 and 2008 will gather on the weekend of January 19th, 2019. The schedule of dates is below.
Tamika Cartwright is our Director of Development and Public Relations and is co-ordinating the 70th Anniversary celebrations. The programme for the weekends will be similar: a gathering at St Andrew’s on the Saturday morning where you’ll tour the school and meet the school and student leadership teams. You’ll have time in the afternoon to get to the beach, play a game of soccer, basketball or baseball or enjoy a round of golf. In the evening we’ll enjoy a meal together at a local restaurant. On Sunday, similarly, we’ll have time for a breakfast and to enjoy one another’s company. The programme is quite flexible so please put your creative hat on.
What we need from you is someone or a team of people to volunteer to work with Tamika to contact as many alumni as we can, get them excited about the event and plan the programme for your weekend. Please contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org
Class of Date:
